We are seeking compassionate, dependable volunteers to join our mission in supporting our Veterans and their families. As a vital part of our care team, volunteers help create a welcoming and healing environment for every patient who walks through our doors.
As a Patient Welcome Ambassador, you will be the first friendly face our Veterans see. Your role is to greet each patient with warmth, offer assistance navigating the clinic, and help set a positive tone for their visit. By creating a compassionate and respectful environment, you help reduce stress and foster a sense of belonging.
Ideal for: Individuals who are personable, empathetic, and enjoy making others feel at ease.
This critical behind-the-scenes role ensures that our healing spaces remain clean, safe, and ready for each patient. Responsibilities include lightly sanitizing treatment tables, resetting the space with fresh linens or supplies, and maintaining a calm, orderly environment in between patient visits. Your care supports our clinical staff and honors our Veterans by providing them with dignified, hygienic spaces for care.
Ideal for: Volunteers who are detail-oriented, responsible, and appreciate hands-on service.
As a Scheduling Assistant, you'll work closely with patients and staff to book follow-up visits, confirm upcoming appointments, and assist with intake or check-out processes. This role helps ensure that our clinic operates smoothly and that every Veteran receives timely, coordinated care.
Ideal for: Organized individuals with strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
In this administrative support role, you’ll assist with phone calls, emails, and document preparation to help streamline communication between our clinic and the Department of Veterans Affairs. You’ll support patient care coordination by helping ensure that necessary information flows accurately and promptly between parties.
Ideal for: Volunteers who are dependable, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive information with professionalism.
As an Administrative & Clerical Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the clinic organized and efficient. Tasks may include filing patient documents, preparing welcome packets, data entry, answering phones, making reminder calls, or helping with special projects. Your behind-the-scenes support allows our clinical team to focus more time on patient care.
Ideal for: Volunteers who are organized, dependable, and comfortable with basic office tasks or light computer use. Perfect for those who enjoy structure and want to contribute meaningfully without being in a clinical role.
From Veteran Appreciation Days to health fairs and educational workshops, our events are an essential part of building community. As an Event Support Volunteer, you'll assist with setup, guest check-in, distributing materials, coordinating refreshments, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
Ideal for: Energetic, reliable team players who enjoy bringing people together and supporting meaningful causes.
