The Healing Village, Inc. seeks to restore vital, life-changing health services to veterans, families, and underserved residents of our community. After an unexpected closure due to a 6-fold operating cost increase—annually—hundreds have been left without care for chronic pain, mental health, nutrition, and general wellness.
This project will secure a new clinic location, rehire expert staff, and relaunch our core programs:
- Non-opioid pain management (acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, and physical therapy)
- Substance Abuse
- Mental health counseling and trauma support groups
- Wellness and prevention classes (mindfulness, yoga, stress management)
- Nutrition and food education programs
- Community health outreach events
We will reinstate our sliding-scale policy so that no one, regardless of financial situation, is turned away. Our patients are currently suffering without these programs—facing unmanaged pain, isolation, and lack of vital health resources. This project is not just a reopening, but a lifeline for hundreds who have nowhere else to turn.

NextChapter: Youth and Young Adult Recovery Project™ is a comprehensive, community-based initiative developed by The Healing Village, Inc. to address substance use disorders among youth and young adults, with a special focus on veterans’ families, underserved, and underprivileged populations. The project is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices, aiming to empower participants to turn the page toward a healthier, substance-free future.
Nourish to Flourish™ Project
Nourish to Flourish™ is a comprehensive nutrition and wellness initiative designed to empower veterans, families, and underserved communities to manage pain and support mental health through food. By combining evidence-based dietary education, hands-on cooking experiences, personalized consultations, and community gatherings, the program addresses healthcare gaps and fosters lasting wellness.
